Early detection of the problem and to detect potential problem is the best way to prevent unscheduled shut down of plant operation. Some costly shut downs can be prevented by a simple tool; the thermal camera or infrared camera. As thermal camera prices dropping rapidly in the market, there is no reason why you won’t provide your team to make them more efficient. Imagine how much energy bills you wasted monthly due to poor insulation of your walk-in cooler for food storage (see figure to the right). Infrared camera will save you thousands of dollars by identifying the existing problem.
